As of June 2018, Instagram have reached over 1 billion active users per month. That’s a lot of fucking users!
If you’re new to Instagram or wanting to create a secondary account, you’re gonna want to have a username that’s unique. But with over 1 billion users, chances are you’re first user name you though of is probably taken. Hahaha, that sucks! Here you are with an awesome name you worked hours coming up with – is not available.
Here’s are some tips on getting that username.
Use Periods (.)
Try adding a period (.) in your username. Example: if your name is Johnny Appleseed, you could use j.appleseed
Domain names and other extensions.
Got a website? Use your url as your username! If your Mr. Google and and Google is taken use google.com!
If you love photography add .jpg or .png after your desired username. A great way to let your new followers photography is your thing. Love creating videos? .mp4 or .mov works too!
Be creative! Use other extensions. Love food? Add .food!
Add numbers to your name
My least favorite way. I dislike adding 123 or 456 to usernames. But if you have no other choice go for it! @Eatit69 might not be likable, if that’s your thing, go for it.
